Last week, three separate projects by McCoy-Rockford teams won Best Practice Awards during the 4th Annual Awards of Excellence held by the Houston Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). We were honored to be selected and are ecstatic for our clients who can say they have award-winning facilities! Accolades are great, but what is even better is knowing we helped create remarkable places where our clients can do truly great work.
The award-winning projects were for the following clients:
NDT Global is a cutting-edge oil services solution company that utilizes state of the art technology to provide non-destructive testing solutions for multiple facets of the oil and gas industry.
Adjoining testing and controls areas required a visual connection between the spaces with enough flexibility to adapt as needed; using demountable walls and raised-access floor. Additionally, the Steelcase furniture solution met NDT’s focus on ergonomics by offering height adjustability for every employee’s workstation.
In the front of the facility, an office for business operations needed to cater to client meetings and employee productivity, while maintaining an elegant look that has the ability to adapt with the company as it grows.

Jetco Delivery is a provider of transportation and freight brokerage services with a unique approach to their office environment. The CEO of Jetco, Brian Fielkow, is a very progressive thinker and very focused on how the space would support not only their daily work, but also the wellbeing of their employees.
McCoy partnered with Jetco in designing the layout of their office space to optimize collaboration between departments, offer a variety of locations for the employees to work, and create a highly ergonomic workplace.
McCoy implemented a solution using Steelcase Privacy Wall and Steelcase Furniture to create an office space that boasts a work café, walkstations, quiet rooms, a bright open plan, beautiful veneer private offices and fosters a contagious energy amongst all of the Jetco Family.
Global Shop Solutions is a family-owned ERP software company focused on improved efficiencies and profitability for manufacturing companies across the globe.
During the second generation of family leadership, the company has grown significantly. This is attributed to their personal touch and a highly effective product. Being based in the Woodlands, area growth and limited availability of space were challenging factors.
