McCoy brings home IFMA Awards

Last week, three separate projects by McCoy-Rockford teams won Best Practice Awards during the 4th Annual Awards of Excellence held by the Houston Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).  We were honored to be selected and are ecstatic for our clients who can say they have award-winning facilities! Accolades are great, but what is even better is knowing we helped create remarkable places where our clients can do truly great work.

The award-winning projects were for the following clients:

  • NDT Global
  • Jetco Delivery
  • Global Shop Solutions

Meet the Winners

NDT GLobal

NDT Global is a cutting-edge oil services solution company that utilizes state of the art technology to provide non-destructive testing solutions for multiple facets of the oil and gas industry.

Adjoining testing and controls areas required a visual connection between the spaces with enough flexibility to adapt as needed; using demountable walls and raised-access floor. Additionally, the Steelcase furniture solution met NDT’s focus on ergonomics by offering height adjustability for every employee’s workstation.

In the front of the facility, an office for business operations needed to cater to client meetings and employee productivity, while maintaining an elegant look that has the ability to adapt with the company as it grows.

McCoy Rockford was selected based on their track record of performance in the industry, ability to provide product that is flexible as well as elegant and a total solution of walls, raised access floor and furniture.

Global Shop Solutions

Global-Shop-Solutions-IFMA-Awards-Photos-01.jpgGlobal Shop Solutions is a family-owned ERP software company focused on improved efficiencies and profitability for manufacturing companies across the globe.

During the second generation of family leadership, the company has grown significantly. This is attributed to their personal touch and a highly effective product. Being based in the Woodlands, area growth and limited availability of space were challenging factors.

McCoy-Rockford partnered with Global Shop Solutions to assist with their real estate optimization effort; creating hard-working spaces that provide a place of wellbeing through ergonomic flexibility, enhancement of the natural Woodlands setting, and acoustical privacy. All of this while keeping the same footprint and increasing employee density.

McCoy-Rockford implemented a solution using Steelcase V.I.A., Steelcase furniture, and Interface carpet that work together to create a comprehensive offering. Now in Phase 6 of their build out, McCoy Rockford continues as a proud partner that strives to add value each step of the way.
